Taking your own vehicle it takes about 20 minutes to reach departure stations for the 'Arena Alva' of Flims/Laax, Mundaun-Obersaxen or Brigels / Andiast / Waltensburg.

Driving one half hour to an hour you reach Disentis / Sedrun, Vals - Thermal Spa and Vals 3000 ski region - or the quiet Tenna in Safiental. Less than an hours drive will also bring you to the cable car (spectacular ride across the Rhine!) to Feldis / Veulden with a small skiing region and a vast hinterland for ski touring. Venturing into the areaif Dreibündenstein will allow an eventual descent to Chur (cablecar as of Brambrüesch above the city) or Churwalden with further links to the area of Lenzerheide / Valbella / Parpan.
